According to a recent study in the Journal of Neuroscience, our emotional stability increases increases in a linear progression each decade from our teens through our seventies. As we age, two very interesting things happen:
- We gain greater ability to control negative emotions (such as anger and fear)
- We experiece more happiness, our brain rewires itself to allow us to experience more joy
So, we naturally shift from rebellious teenage youtha and trend towards emotionally-stable and generally happy and optimistic seniors.
Something to say?
