Convincing Others that You’re Special

Written by: Bill Sherman on Friday, 11 July 2008, 9:27 AM

If you want other people to believe that you’re special, you have to provide an answer to that very question. You need a thought-leadership marketing strategy. But, you can’t implement it in an afternoon. Here’s what thought leadership marketing requires:

  1. Concept–what will you be known for?
  2. Passion–are you passionate about the concept?
  3. Market–who wants to hear your thoughts on the topic?

In the ideal world, you have a concept that you’re passionate about, and a very receptive audience that wants to hear/buy your services (the more influential the audience . . . the better).

Thought leadership marketing takes a long time to implement, however like any investment, the rewards compound year after year.

Something to say?
